SAMAH TOKMACHI

Creative Director

Samah received his education in cinema from Columbia College and then moved to LA to pursue cinematic storytelling. He has written, directed and edited for television and the web. With work that has ranged the gamut from creating films for the United Nations to the Sundance Institute, Samah has had the opportunity to explore various modes of creative storytelling.

His award-winning films have appeared in several festivals, and have featured a number of talented actors, including Rainn Wilson (The Office), Nelsan Ellis (True Blood) and Jordan Belfi (Entourage). In 2010, Samah was hired to direct the pilot SoulPancake webisodes that launched on OWN’s Super Soul Sunday.

In addition to directing, Samah works as a story consultant and editor, plying his specialized storytelling skills for a variety of projects.

 

TODD BROWN

Executive Producer

Todd received his Masters in History of International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin. Todd Brown has been producing documentaries and news segments for over 12 years. Prior to co-founding YOND3R, Todd moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2009, creating short dynamic videos for numerous NGO’s with a global reach.

Todd previously served as hard news segment producer with MTV News and Channel One News. He was also a frequent contributor of international segments for Current TV, and an established documentary photographer who has exhibited his work at several esteemed international galleries. Todd brings his deep production skills and virtuosic ability to coordinate complex, global projects to the YOND3R team.
